What do you do a few days before the end of the world?

Six strangers from different backgrounds are trapped together as the apocalypse approaches. Fear, hope, guilt, unexpected solidarity—and plenty of humor—collide in this physical theater story about the final moments before the end.

Apocalypse Tomorrow weaves text, movement, and music into a darkly comic and emotional journey about time, loss, and the choices we make.

Directed by Evgeny Kulagin and choreographed by Ivan Estegneev, Apocalypse Tomorrow combines physical theater, music, and text. The performance text was developed through a collective process of improvisation under the guidance of playwright Mikhail Durnenkov, creating a space to explore fears, hopes, and emotions that often resist language.

Premiere – January 31, 2024, Lessingtage (Thalia Theater Hamburg)
Language – English (without subtitles)
