Ade­la Ma­hara­ni is an In­do­nesi­an dan­ce ar­tist ba­sed in Ber­lin. As a per­former, she col­la­bora­tes in­terna­ti­onal­ly ac­ross dan­ce, ope­ra, and the­ater.

Her re­cent no­tab­le cre­dits inc­lu­de pro­jects with Vi­en­na Volk­so­per, Vi­en­na Sta­te Ope­ra, and Wi­ener Fest­wo­chen, as well as works by Ki­rill & Fri­ends com­pa­ny, Isa­ac Chong Wai at the Ve­nice Bi­en­na­le 2024, and cie.ATASH (Ul­duz Ah­madza­deh). In her own cho­re­og­raphic and col­la­bora­tive prac­ti­ce, Ade­la exp­lo­res in­terdis­cipli­nary works that exa­mine how iden­ti­ty sha­pes the bo­dy's pre­sen­ce ac­ross dif­fe­rent spa­ces. She holds a BA in Con­tempo­rary and Clas­si­cal Dan­ce from the Mu­sic and Arts Uni­ver­si­ty of Vi­en­na (MUK) and re­ce­ived a scho­lars­hip for the Dan­ce­Web prog­ramme from Im­puls­tanz Fes­ti­val Vi­en­na 2022.
