Gurgen Tsaturyan performed at the Thalia Theater in Hamburg in The Black Monk (directed by Kirill Serebrennikov) and at the Theatre of Nations in Moscow in Master and Margarita (directed by Robert Lepage), Lefty and Circus (both directed by Maxim Didenko), and Blue, Blue Bird (directed by Oleg Glushkov).
In 2022, appeared in Kirill Serebrennikov’s film Tchaikovsky’s Wife, selected for the main competition of the 2022 Cannes Film Festival.
Worked as an opera performer (lead singer) at the Royal Theatre of La Monnaie in Brussels. Participated as a performer and director’s assistant in Richard Jones’s productions — Macbeth, The Queen of Spades, The Fiery Angel, and Eugene Onegin — at La Monnaie and at the Glyndebourne Festival Opera.
Performed various roles in musicals and operas in London (Royal Albert Hall), Amsterdam (Concertgebouw), Dresden (Semperoper), Paris (Théâtre du Châtelet), and Baden-Baden (Festspielhaus).
